Having served as a leader of one of the largest car clubs in the Twin Cities area for over a decade, I have faced the challenges that the management of a car club faces. Of course I started out as a member and I also know what members are looking for from their club.
This perspective, along with having been a software engineer and entrepreneur for over 30 years, has been the driving force behind creating Middletwin. I started building the platform in 2006 and by 2008 had started using it for handling our event registration and voting at our annual car show.
In the years since I have added more and more functionality to my platform, making it an integral part of the clubs management.
As I was building it other local groups began to notice, so I opened up the platform to other groups.
I believe that Middletwin can help any group be better. And that if a groups technology stack has been created and managed by just one person (the “tech” person), it puts the club at great risk of failing if this person were to leave.
