We never rest and 2021 was no exception. To usher in the new year we have released a newly refactored user interface for our administrator portal that pretty much adheres to the existing user experience, but is much better.

Whats the same…

When you log in the login process is unchanged other than you will see a different looking interface for entering in your multi factor authentication code.

When you are logged in the portal will look pretty much the same however there are some key differences. 

The first one is on popups (also known as dialogs or fly outs), we removed them. Everything is either inline with the area you are working in or uses a new side panel experience.

The second is that we have moved all the billing and payment related tasks into a dedicated app/tab that contains the sales receipts, payment history, payment methods, and attached bank accounts all in one location.

The third is we have a brand new and much improved email template builder. Note that you will want to create new templates in this new email template builder as templates created in the previous template build are not editable in the new one.

The forth major update is the addition of messaging. Now you can setup a phone number and send and receive sms and mms text messages with your members. You can also setup automatic responses to text messages that have keywords, setup incoming call routing including an interactive voice router (IVR) to route calls based on caller inputs (aka dial 1 for John Doe, 2 for Jane Doe) and setup a group contact card that your members can get via an SMS text message.

And there is many other subtle enhancements designed to make Middletwin easier to use. This is just the beginning of many more things to come and we cannot wait to share more announcements in the near future.

Oh, and we know that sometimes we might miss something, if at anytime you want to switch back to the previous user experience, you can, just click the light bulb icon in the top bar. If the light build is on you are using the new user interface, if it is off you are in the previous user interface. We will not be providing any of the new features or making any other updates to the previous user interface, we are just proving access to it as we are phasing it out. If you find something is not working in the new user interface please let us know ASAP at so we can get it fixed.
